New Artland was a New Zealand art series presented by Chris Knox in which a contemporary artist creates a new work of art for a community close to their heart. In this episode artist Lonnie Hutchinson has her original plans to hang a lei of fresh flowers over the Bridge of Remembrance in Christchurch thwarted by bureaucracy so instead makes a text work out of pansies at the top of Godley Head, Banks Peninsula.
